Short Story Saturday

SSS

Terrible name, I know. And I apologise. If anyone can think of something catchier, let me know. I had a thought. Now that my main WIP is finished (sort of) and with uni, I find I have less time to write for myself than I would like, I’ve turned my focus to short stories. Short stories are a great way to improve character development as well as contain your stories and ideas so from now on, I’m going to post 300-500 words from a short story I’ve written every Saturday, beginning this Saturday, the 3rd August. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me and if any of you are technologically smart and know how to create one of those linky things, that would be super handy. 🙂

Have you worked out a Linky yet? If not, I’m happy to have a fiddle around with inlinkz and see if I can make sense of it. I don’t know if I’ll get in on this every Saturday, but I’m definitely keen for some.

If you could work out a linky, that would be great. 🙂 And don’t stress if you can’t get something out every week. I plan to release mine in instalments so one story will last for two or three weeks. That way, I’ll have more time to write the next one. 🙂 And yay! Thankyou for being so excited about this. I really hope it will take off (at least to some extent) 😀

Good idea! I’m thinking I’ll use maybe the first one or two to figure out the history between the two countries in my new WIP. There’s quite a bit of it and I’m not sure I have it all straight yet.

I’ve got a linky, but I can’t work out how to get to the page for it – it wants me to put the code in a page on my blog. I’ll have another fiddle with it tomorrow when I am home earlier (been out to dinner) and keep you posted.
